Our story

Three decades of structural thinking.

Avadh Consultancy Services traces its origins to 1991, when founder Mr. Subhash Chandra Gupta began structural design as a part-time practice alongside his academic career. Officially registered in 2019 and headquartered in Dehradun, the firm has grown into one of Uttarakhand's foremost structural consultancies — with a portfolio spanning water treatment plants, bridges, hotels, townships and thousands of residential and commercial structures.

Our work is grounded in a simple philosophy: every structure must be safe, economical and built to last. We combine rigorous IS code compliance with deep local expertise — understanding the seismic demands of the Himalayas, the varied soil conditions of the Doon Valley, and the construction realities of Uttarakhand's hill towns and plains.

We serve real estate developers, builders, architects and government bodies across North India and beyond — from Jammu & Kashmir to Jharkhand. Clients include the World Bank Group, Airports Authority of India, Jal Jeevan Mission, Hyatt Regency, and multiple state governments.

Mr. Subhash Chandra Gupta began his journey in structural design in 1991. After a distinguished academic career — including serving as Associate Dean at UPES, Dehradun — he founded Avadh Consultancy Services in 2019 to pursue full-time engineering practice. He is the first structural engineer to be authorised by the Government of Uttarakhand.

Prashoon joined Avadh full-time in January 2025, bringing experience from Dar Al-Handasah (Pune) and Tandon Consultants (Delhi). His portfolio includes underground stations for the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and overhead water tanks across India. He cleared the Engineering Services Examination with AIR 104 and GATE with AIR 154.
